There’s also a deep bench of corporate sponsors

The Chase Center’s steady march towards opening its fall opening has brought multiple announcements of SF restaurateurs who’ve joined the team at the $1.4 billion arena. Now, it’s the beverage program’s turn with the news that BVHospitality — the team behind Trick Dog and Bon Voyage! — will consult on cocktails with Bon Appetit Management.

In addition to its bars, the company founded by Josh Harris and Morgan Schick frequently consults on bar programs around town, including Charmaine’s at the Proper Hotel. That won’t mean there will be outposts of their award-winning bars at Chase, however; their role will be to implement the high-quality cocktails that the Bay Area has come to expect, using fresh juices and curating premium liquors throughout the arena.

Meanwhile, the rest of the beverages are heavily sponsored by corporations, resulting in a bevy of branded bars, as well as the brand’s products served throughout. Here’s the rundown:

  • Pernod Ricard will have several bars throughout, including a Jameson bar the upper concourse
  • Tanduay Rum will have “theater boxes” above suite level
  • Moët Hennessy will operate the ‘Hennessy Bar’ on the west upper concourse
  • There’ll be a two-story Budweiser Legends Club that will also house a Michelob Ultra bar (one of two)
  • Elysian Brewing, the Seattle craft brewery purchased by Anhauser-Busch in 2015, will have two Elysian City Bistros on the upper and main concourse
  • Modelo, owned by the beverage behemoth Constellation Brands, will have a Modelo Cantina atop the north upper concourse skybar, with another Modelo-branded bar, Modelo Bar, planned for the south upper concourse
  • Local breweries featured through the Center’s Tastemaker program, including Drake’s, Faction, Harmonic Brewing, Triple VooDoo Brewing, and Sequoia Sake
  • For the non-alcoholic beverage seekers, Pepsi Co. is the chosen soft drink brand, and will feature Pepsi Hydration Stations throughout the arena.

On the food side, there will be plenty to pair with those cocktails, beer, and wine. The Taste Maker’s program has brought in local eateries like Tacolicious, Bake Sale Betty, Dumpling Time, La Corneta Taqueria, and Belly. The Thrive City development on the Third Street side of the arena will feature a standalone restaurant from Michael Mina, as well as Gott’s Roadside and more.

The wine program is forthcoming, so stay tuned for that as the Chase Center nears its September debut.
