Here's what we're watching this Wednesday morning. ![]() One year after the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol, Congress is eyeing new laws to prevent future attempts to subvert democracy, with the goal of passing legislation this year.
Lawmakers expect another Trump-style attempt to steal an election in 2024. But crafting legislation to stop it is proving to be complicated.
"Our aim is to ensure nothing like January 6th ever happens again," one aide to the committee said.
